What is Rss?

RSS is a way for you to subscribe to Bill's Blog and receive notifications when there's something new to come see. We update the blog frequently, most of the time weekly, but sometimes even more than that. We don't want to clutter your email box with a Bill Mail every time there's something new so we have what's called an RSS Feed that you can use.

You can subscribe to the feed, which is just a notification that something new is on the blog, via email or in a feed reader like Google Reader or Bloglines. You can also add it to your iGoogle, My Yahoo!® or MyAOL pages.

All you do is go to our Subscription page and hit “Subscribe” to be taken to a page that allows you to pick where you want your subscription to go. If you want it via email, you'll get an email notification whenever we post something new. This email is different from Bill Mail.

If you'd like to learn more about using RSS Feeds or how to use a Feed Reader, we recommend you watch the “RSS In Plain English” video by Common Craft (click here to go there).

If you're still not sure how to use them, email Emily. She'll get Kat the blog geek to answer your questions.
